MMX Rear Diff Rear Bush Poly 'Large' | G8x | M2 | M3 | M4

The MMX Performance Differential Mount Bush is designed to work exclusively with the MMX Dual Differential Mount (MMR55-1606), fitting the secondary mounting point on the G8x and F8x M2, M3 and M4 differential, a factory location BMW left unused. Manufactured from 80A durometer grey polyurethane with a black anodised 6061-T6 aluminium sleeve, it works alongside the mount to add a second point of support to the drivetrain, reducing unwanted movement under normal and increased torque loads while keeping NVH to a minimum. The result is a sharper, more stable driveline response for road and track driven vehicles, and a direct answer to the differential mount failures common on these chassis.

Purpose-Built for the Second Mount Point

The MMX Performance Differential Mount Bush is designed to work exclusively with the MMX Dual Differential Mount (MMR55-1606). Together, the two components make use of a secondary mounting point on the G8x and F8x M2, M3 and M4 differential that BMW engineered into the chassis but never activated from the factory. The MMX mount opens up this unused location, and the bush is what sits inside it, engineered specifically for the loads this new point of support is designed to carry.

Manufactured from 80A durometer grey polyurethane and housed in a black anodised 6061-T6 aluminium sleeve, the bush is built to a firmer specification than the factory rubber used elsewhere in the drivetrain. This is a deliberate choice. A softer compound would compress under load and undermine the extra rigidity the mount is there to provide, while 80A durometer holds its shape through normal and increased torque loads alike, keeping the differential planted under hard acceleration and dynamic driving without transmitting excessive noise or vibration into the cabin.

Fitment is direct, with no cutting, drilling or modification required, and the increase in NVH is minimal, in keeping with a component intended for road and track use rather than a track-only compromise. Fitted alongside the MMX Dual Differential Mount, the result is a second, genuine point of support for the differential, sharper driveline response under load, and a level of drivetrain stability the factory mounting arrangement was never designed to deliver on its own.
