MMX Rear Diff OEM Bush Aluminium Insert Single 'Dual Mount' | G8x | M2 | M3 | M4

The MMX Rear Diff OEM Bush Aluminium Insert Single ‘Dual Mount’ (MMR55-1619) is the next step for G8x M2, M3 and M4 owners already running the MMX Rear Diff OEM Bush Aluminium Insert Kit ‘Single Rear Mount’ (MMR55-1618), on both RWD and xDrive models. Adding the MMX OEM Differential Dual Mount (MMR55-1606) with a second OEM rubber bush gives the differential an additional rear mounting point, and this insert fits into that bush in exactly the same way the kit supports the factory mounting points. Fitted together with the Dual Mount, it completes the full dual rear mount insert setup. Precision machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminium, it’s a fully reversible upgrade.

The Final Piece.

The MMX Rear Diff OEM Bush Aluminium Insert Single ‘Dual Mount’ (MMR55-1619) is the larger rear insert from the G8x insert range, supplied on its own for owners who already have the MMX Rear Diff OEM Bush Aluminium Insert Kit ‘Single Rear Mount’ (MMR55-1618) fitted and are adding the MMX OEM Differential Dual Mount (MMR55-1606). The Dual Mount opens up a second rear mounting point BMW left unused from the factory, populated with a second OEM rubber bush (33 31 6 899 168) that the original kit doesn’t cover.

This single insert fills the voids in that second bush, matching the support already in place at the front mounts and the first rear mount. With every bush on the differential now supported, movement under launches, hard acceleration and fast changes of direction is limited across the whole setup, giving a more direct, consistent rear end with no perceivable increase in noise, vibration or harshness inside the cabin. It can be removed at any time to return the car to stock.

The design has been proven on the M-Lite platform across F2x and F3x vehicles before being developed specifically for the G8x M-cars. With the kit already fitted, adding the MMX OEM Differential Dual Mount (MMR55-1606), a second OEM bush and this single insert completes the dual rear mount setup.
