This kit features a high-performance stainless steel oil filter that addresses the notorious S58 filter failure once and for all. By replacing the factory paper element with MMX’s advanced high-flow, high-filtration stainless steel unit, it protects the engine from costly damage caused by the OE filter’s tendency to collapse. The kit’s lifetime stainless filter material allows up to five times the flow of standard paper filters, providing consistent performance across the entire filter surface.

Included is a billet oil filter housing, a direct replacement for the fragile OE plastic housing prone to cracking and oil leaks. Machined from 6061 aerospace-grade aluminium and finished in gloss black, it combines strength, durability, and style. Integrated pressure control and oil bypass eliminate the need to transfer the OE plastic bypass valve, making installation straightforward.

Completing the kit is a magnetic sump plug, a simple yet highly effective upgrade to extend engine life. As the S58 engine wears, tiny metallic particles circulate in the oil, accelerating wear. The MMX magnetic sump plug captures these ferrous particles, helping to keep the engine cleaner and healthier for longer.
