More Oil, More Cooling, No Compromise.

The MMX High Capacity Diff Sump (MMR55-1000) is a direct replacement for the factory diff pan on the BMW F8x M2, M2 Competition, M3 and M4. It increases oil capacity by up to 2 litres, giving the differential a larger reserve to draw on through sustained track use and hard road driving.

An internal windage tray keeps gear and pinion lubrication constant regardless of load or cornering forces, while also reducing component drag. Less oil churn means less parasitic loss through the drivetrain, and more consistent lubrication where it's needed.

Internal and external cooling fins increase the sump's surface area, improving oil cooling and helping the differential hold a consistent operating temperature under repeated hard use. A -8AN port, supplied with an M22 to -8AN adaptor, allows the sump to be run with an external cooling setup for anyone pushing the drivetrain further.

The windage tray is built extra wide, giving perfect compatibility with Drexler and other F8x M2, M3 and M4 mechanical limited-slip differentials straight out of the box. The factory sump needs internal modification to accept a Drexler or mechanical LSD, this one doesn't.

Precision machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminium, the sump fits the factory mounting points directly, with no modification required. It can be installed alongside the MMX Dual Differential Mount (MMR55-1001) and Front Differential Lift Mount / Cradle (MMR55-1604) for the ultimate F8x diff system.
